I saw this cake and totally fell in love. Lincoln LOVES Go Dog GO. He asks for it by saying "Go GOg Go". I love the book too. So much, in fact, that I have the entire book memorized (the long 48 page version). That's what happens when both kids have loved it so much I have probably read it 500 times. it looks to be way above my skill level, but I still want to try it out and see what happens. SO TOTALLY CUTE!

I also think I found an idea for our family room. I really like the room they showed on The Bachelorette. These are the only photos I found, but can you tell there is a dark blue and white Ikat patterned pillow on the couch? With lime green pillows too and I love the brown and lime green curtains and the orange flower accents. I wonder where the heck they got those pillows?

So this is what the bedding in our master bedroom looks like. I'm surprised that Nathan OK'd it. :) I am going to make 3 big square yellow pillows to go behind the ones you already see and something ruffly or fun in a different color to go in front. We want a headboard or something to make it look finished but haven't found one that matches our existing bedroom furniture. I just saw this tutorial to make something like this and I got excited! I am SO going to do it!

I also need some sort of wreath for the front door. I think this one is cute, but it looks like it would be hard to do.

Oh and can i just say I LOVE yellow? I would put yellow in every room of the house.

My next project

Since we'll be in the middle of a move I probably won't get a whole lot done in the next month but this is what I want to do next! SO cute! Are people going to think I'm weird when I show up at church in homemade clothes? :)

A new skirt

My sister in law helped me make this yesterday! It was so easy and fun!


So should I wear it with a black shirt, brown, or cream? I have extra fabric I was going to make some sort of accessory with too.

Oh and I saw this on cake central today. They are cookies with brush embroidery. OH SO PRETTY!!! I want to try it!

I can't believe this woman has never taken classes. She is AMAZING! I hope that in 3 1/2 years I can be like her!
